i get frustrated very easily should i drop one and do a something that doesnt involve so much writing such as electronics

If your doing edecel geography you may get fustrated with unit 4!!

I don't think anyone on the internet can tell you if you'd struggle or not, not knowing you personally or how capable you are. In the first month or so the jump from GCSE is massive and causes a lot of shock for some people. I'd say take them (if they're what you want to do) and stick at them. If you find you're struggling still halfway through the year, you could always drop one and just take up another AS in year 13.
