Oh in that case, they're probably full. BGP did say they had very limited spaces.

Hi all, I'm in my final year as an undergrad in Dundee and I've been accepted for a PhD at Nottingham and the condition I get a 2:1 :eek3: I've also applied for accommodation at Broadgate Park and was allocated a Large En-Suite Studio. I have a few questions before I accept though...

Is there really no proper oven?

Although I've got a studio I'd quite like to socialise - Is the place sociable? Is there somewhere I could catch the football and rugby?

    Sorry for the ramble lol.

Sorry for replying late. I have a friend doing a PhD in a studio so hope I can help. I do believe there is an oven in them but if you really want that confirmed please ask me and I'll find out for you. From what my friend tells me the studios aren't sociable at all unfortunately. People keep themselves to themselves. There is a common room which is genuinely quite empty but it has all the sports channels to watch what you want. Any questions, feel free to ask.

Ooh... you were in Dundee? Maybe you can help me out. How is it, honestly? Are there many international students? how is the student life there? And the town (bustling with a young crowd/ quiet with many old people)? Dundee's my insurance (notts my firm) and i just realised that I know very little about it.

Just as a question I know that the rooms have internet access in them but does that include online gaming?

Its not a big deal if they don't but it helps so I don't go and renew my Xbox Live and then find out I can't use it :p:

I heard that we find out 3 weeks before we move in (so that's about a week after Results Day). Too far away, I'm impatient
