I am currently studying social care at a university in Liverpool and I have hated it since the very first lecture. At the start I spoke to the head lecturer to ask if I was allowed to change courses and was told that I was not allowed and to 'stick it out' . However I knew I would not pursue this course into the second year so my attendance has dropped and I am putting in little effort. I have appled through UCAS to study primary teaching in universities in Liverpool but I have already been rejected for two courses . I know it is because of my grades (260 ucas points only) but I am actually relatively bright but just had alot of issues during my A2 evel year. I feel so depressed and useless and I do not know what to do with my life. I really dont feel that uni is for me but I know that there is little chance of me gaining a decent job without a degree. Please Please help and give me advice. Thanks xxx

Drop out, resit a couple of your AS or A2 modules you messed up on, then re apply with hopefully better grades.
