Sour grapes deary, sour grapes.
sour grapes no - an observation about oxbridge that's all. Ox and cambridge r great uni's but not ness the best. I wud have rejected ox anyway cos I think I have a better offer. I applied in the first pl;ace cos i was like most people who were hypnotized by ox's name etc. I have learned since that that isn't the case and oxbridge is great but it's the name that make's people spellbound into thinking that it's oxbridge or nothing.

Ox and Cam are the best unis; but it's funny to see how many of these universties' undergraduates believe their little 3 year journey has any significance or is of any importance

Of course its significant; for anybody who spends three years of their life getting a degree it is bound to be important to them. I just don't think its as important as people like you make out. The institution at which you obtain an undergraduate degree doesn't really make all that much difference (within the traditional, research-led universities). The individual department at which graduate degrees are obtained, however, is more important.
