The answer is quite simple - because if you don't you will die feeling exactly how you feel now!
Get out of bed, change your life around and most of all get a better lifestyle, you get one shot at life so don't mess it up. Nearly all the things you have listed can be changed and there are so many decent people out there, you just need to find them.
Chin up, things can only get better

You aren't going to make new friends if you stay in bed all day. Do an adult learners course? Then you'll meet people and get something to help with the job situation?

    For your mums sake.
    To better yourself?
Don't waste your potential-there are people who are disabled, underprivileged or dead, so try and appreciate what you do have, even if you find it difficult.

    Well let's see.....

    1. To lose weight (ie. become healthy by improving your diet and doing more exercise)
    2. To do some volunteer work (to boost your CV whilst out of work, and as a means of meeting new people).
    3. To help your mum around the house (more, if you do already) as a thank you for putting you up whilst you're having financial difficulties.
    4. Why not learn a language? It's relatively cheap to do, and it will keep your brain active and give you something to do with your free time.
    5. There are many things you could be doing with your time to stop yourself from going mental, why not make it one of your tasks to find things that you CAN theoretically do, and then you can choose a couple of things from that list to do.

You're nearly 30 years old, and you're acting like a 14 year old boy! Yes, life's tough at the moment and things aren't going the way you previously hoped they would, so what are you gonna do? Indulge in self pity and incessant whining, constantly making excuses for your shortcomings whilst doing nothing to better yourself? Or realise that despite the fact that things are pretty bad at the moment, they could be a hell of a lot worse and there is a lot that you can do to get the most out of life.

& don't BS me w.r.t your diabetes - provided that you follow a healthy diet and correctly use the medication you have been given, there is no reason whatsoever for you to not have a relatively normal and fulfilling lifestyle *&& no, chocolate eating contests do not form part of said lifestyle*.

    Good luck!

Ive experienced those 3 recently and they were all brilliant fun.

Especially living with my mum. We used to sit in the kitchen playing cards and drinking gin all night. It was awesome, I love that lady.

Some people are better off dead. Life is a privilege. I have a right to say what I did because I know life isn't easy, but I put the effort in to make friends, have a job and have a life. It would be easier for me to sit at home and watch movies and eat junk.
Some people are better off dead?

Quite frankly, you don't deserve to have friends.

    Yeah, I'm not your friend.
What's the point in picking up on their age though, seriously? Wouldn't that make you feel bad? Not being able to go onto certain sites for help because of a number?

Yet again you don't quit it, showing what an ignoramus you really are.
If you had a keen sense if sight you would see that nowhere on my previous post did i say they couldn't visit this website, i merely stated that i found it quite wierd.
Just quit your stupid argument, you are arguing about things you have made up.
Just be useful and go die or something.
