    does this mean that our outside option in the 1st year and 2nd year can be a language?

    but what wasn't clear was if that outside option could be german, i can only see german in the level 3 suggesting that you can only take german if you've already done it previously?

    I know someone doing economics whose first year outside option was german, not sure which level though.

    yeah thats what i'd like to find out, if i can go from level 2 or level 1
    my german is quite good, but not got an A level in it so...

    and theres such limited options for languages for beginers!
    i'd have liked to learn arabic or german.. oh well..
