I can't say that I'm particularly interested in this kind of thing, but some of you may like to know that the confirmed cause of actress Brittany Murphy's death was "community acquired pneumonia," iron deficiency anemia, and multiple drug intoxication.

I'm hardly surprised by the latter knowing a small amount about the kind of lifestyle she lead, but drug intoxication is becoming all-too-common in the showbiz world, in my opinion.

Well they were perscription drugs, and the coroner said that and the pnumonia contributed to her death and i heard on radio 1 that he said they might've sped up the process of it or something?

Edit he also said that the perscription drugs were all prescribed to her by her doctors, so :/

But look at Michael Jackson. Casey Calvert, a guitarist in a rock band, died from a prescription drug OD. He had X painkiller for a root filling, Y for anxiety, Z for stress. I'd be willing to bet money he was abusing them and not taking them how he was meant to. If prescription ODs were as common in the modern world as they are in LaLa Land it would have been flagged up by now. It's too big of a coincidence for every case to be down to bad doctoring.
