# How do I solve these equations, and write the result as a span watch

1. Hi,

So as part of a question I need to find a basis.

To do this I need to find the span of solutions of these equations:

4q + 3w -2e + r =0
8q + 2w -5e + 3r = 0

q, w, e, r just correspond to X1 ... X4 but I thought it'd be easier to see.

How do I write the solution of this as a span of vectors?
2. So I've got these down to:

s = 2r - 4q

w = r - 4q

Still dno how to get a span though.
3. Anyone?
4. Yeee, I'd still like some help with this plz.
