rearranging formulae

hi,
I've been given some rearranging formulae questions but i can do most of them. Except two which are ,

1. E=mgh+1/2mv². make m the subject of the formula
and

2. s=1/2(u+v)t make u the subject of the formula

could you show the working out please :smile:

E = mgh + 1/2 mv^2
E = m(gh + 1/2 v^2)
m = E/(gh + 1/2 v^2)

s = 1/2(u+v)t
2s = (u+v)t
2s/t = u+v
u = (2s/t) - v

2.
s = (u+v)t/2
2 = (u+v)t
(2s)/t = u + v
(2s)/t -v = u
