Fashion is always changing and I'm wondering what people consider to be mainstream at the moment? I would say simple casual stuff such as jeans, tees, polos, hoodies etc will always be mainstream but I would also say the American prep look has become pretty mainstream now ie Abercrombie & Fitch, Hollister.

What items of clothing/brands do you see as being the norm?

'Vintage'. And by that I mean any pre-00s clothing that are covered in stains and look ****. Students seem to lap up the stuff these days, you could convincingly flog any old trashy garment to some of the people I know as long as you remind them it's 'vintage'.

For the female ladies I see: Jeans, uggs, scarves, winter jacket. That's basically the norm at the mo.

Guys I don't notice much. Although I guess it's those jackets with the buttons.

    Hollister needs to fade away.

I think light hues are in right now. Pale pinks, creams etc... perhaps florals too. Oh, and leggings are still going strong. Then there's that whole lace trend, too. Military jackets are about... Can't think anymore.

Multi coloured flares and bright shirts!
Nah only joking, I would say uggs/pumps with leggings, jeans, hoodies, vintage stuff that looks old and unique but is actually £20 from topshop.
Oh and Jack Wills/Hollister/A+F stuff (I hate Jack Wills though )
