Hi, I would just like to know from maybe past experience, but what GCSE grades are needed for a decent shot at oxbridge medicine?

They are quite important.

You shouldn't have an attitude of trying to get the minimum 'needed' (that number doesn't exist) but you should be going for all A*s and be at least capable of achieving this, if you're serious about Oxbridge. :smile:
"A* in the core subjects (double science, english lit and lang, math etc) and A's in the mediorcre ones (as you can get away with that)."

thats exactly what i got hahaa
5A* 4A and a B
my B is in first langauge chinese, think they rly care? i mean its a bloody hard subject :s-smilie:
