    hey there,

    the exam board will be right!

    the exact scores change from year to year but not by that much.

    80% is just the standrad marking scheme, i.e for essays, mocks ect.

    go onto the AQA website and search grade boundaries, you can see last years ones and years before, they will often be very similar.

    At least if the teachers have been telling you it's 80% for an A then they're being harsh but in a good way. That way, when they've been encouraging you to get at least 80% and it turns out the grade boundaries are low, you've got a bonus!
