Say Argentina invaded the Falklands again, what would you want the governments reaction to be?

The aim of this is to see if the opinions on war have changed, at the time everyone was pretty much for going and getting them back.

I reckon a lot less would say that now.

Argentina is no longer run by a crazed junta that conscripts children into gaining a few islands.

I'm not even going to consider the situation because it won't happen in the near future.

The question was not evaluate the possibility of it happening...

The Falklands are a British Territory the people who live there consider themselves British and wish to stay that way. The Argentinians would be forced from the Islands again.

Would be a bit like the French invading the Channel Islands.

Okay, I wouldn't want to intervene.

Not at all. They consider themselves British. As long as that continues they should receive the benefits of that. If they choose to no longer affiliate themselves with the UK then we should accept that.

We've all had dirty little thoughts about a French occupation of Jersey at one time in our lives.

    Had to check.

I do find their constitutional status as unusual, though.

Would it be inexplicably traitorous to be apathetic to such a situation? :ninja:

I'd rather the government focused their efforts on mindlessly harassing the French through in your face stereotypes and random executions.
