I very much doubt it but the people you need to speak to is the RAF/Army/Navy/Tesco (wherever you are applying too).

Hey thanks ive just done some research and on the website it doesnt mention it so it must be fine. The doc said its not dangerous in the slightest, the only reason im getting it removed is because its unsightly. Im applying for the royal air force. What do you mean applying for tescos lol

Well you didnt mention which service you were applying for.

I would be very supprised if it wa a problem...but then this is the military we're talking about - they make some pretty special decisions sometimes with medicals!

They probably wont even notice it lol. Also i would never apply for tescos. I would only apply for the ASDA bread department which is fantastic because you get to wear a green trilby and a badge that says "Im happy to help" :yep:

In that case have you considered the RLC instead they have thier own bakers too!

On a slightly more serious note once you have had it removed there will be biopsies carried out and the results from those may impact your aplication so be aware. Worth having a good look at the medical restrictions published on the forces recriutment sites then talking it over with your GP with that information to hand.
Prior planning and all that and then you can be confident about your future career with her majesty's finest.

Hope it all goes well H&R

Thanks for the advice ive done all of it. The doctor said it should be okay and that if i need a letter or something to prove it he will right one out for me. Also i havent got cancer or anything because lipomas are tumours but not cancerous. Its just a random small lump thats all. Doesnt affect me in the slightest.
