When people think of 'extreme political parties' (ie ones that are not near the centre of the political spectrum), people automatically think of the BNP, the nazis (not that the BNP are like the nazis) etc. However I want people to give their opinions why people don't think of the extreme left also? Why do people only seem to think of the extreme right? Not that there is anything wrong with being on an extreme side since we live in a democracy. I'd suggest that it is because of the media which is run largely by people who are 'lefties' and they are trying to hinder the progress of parties like the BNP, particularly now that they are in Europe.
Just a general discussion on politics, but lets not get too far away from my origional point, OK...

It's because extreme-righters kill, torture and restrict freedom while extreme-lefters in history have killed and tortured millions less while giving us the liberal freedom to fight back if someone tries to rob/attck/kill us.
It should go without saying that everything is best in moderation.
