Hi, I am in my third year doing psychology - hoping to apply for a postgrad diploma in occupational therapy in cardiff. Can anyone help me with a few questions...

How competetive are these sorts of courses, I mean, I am not an outstanding student (aiming for the minimum requirement of a 2.2) - is there much point in me even applying?

It says I need to have made visits to occupational therapists in a hospital setting, a mental health setting and a community setting. I have the first two sorted but I am not sure what sorts of places to write to about the community setting...??

And if anyone has ANY info at all about the postgrad route to OT then i'd be really grateful because it's so hard to come across anyone who has done/doing this course!
