haha it's true though, the weather is so much better=P i loved the idea of living in a castle but apart from that i think warwick and york offer a far better course=) i'm also between these 2 unis but i'm 99% sure I'm going to firm warwick..i'll go at the open day just for that 1% so yep, coming over from greece=)

haha what a surprise someone else that applied to castle durham =P. yeah i think i will go to york just in case also. plus they usually have like free biscuits and food at open days, oh and i've always wanted to hear a yorkshire accent .

so might see at both open days

I got an email yesterday and it said thanks for firming blah blah and also:

"If you have applied for entry in 2010 and want to live on campus in your first year you will need to apply for accommodation online at www.warwick.ac.uk/go/accommodation . The form will be open from Spring 2010 and the deadline for applications is July 31st 2010"

It's pretty ambiguous as to what month it will open, but I hope that it helps!

I was thinking 1. Jack Martin 2. Rootes 3. Tocil, but I'm kind of scared of this whole "en-suite equals quiet people" so I don't know. Wish I could go and check it out :/

It would be nice to have your own bathroom, but I could probably survive without one. People say that they rarely wait to use the bathroom in the non-ensuites so I guess it won't be too bad.

I'm going to study Management, how about you?

Yeah me too, but I'd rather end up at a place with too many outgoing people than a place with too many quiet people

Wow, that's a really competitive subject. Nice work getting an offer!

I went to see Warwick again today and I just didn't feel at home. I can see why it's such a popular and good university, but it's not for me. I've always been in love with RHUL but was worried about 'prestige'. I now realise that it really doesn't matter, plus the degree at RHUL is more suited to my tastes I think. The campus at RHUL is really more my style and it's somewhere I really want to live.

I'm sure you'll have a great time at Warwick though, it is an amazing university and you'll have a brilliant three years there.

So pleased I've finally made a decision!
