Werden does make me think '':hmmm: '' quite a lot of the time haha. I think I tried to use it last year in my oral and ended up saying the queen will be beheaded...oops...

Nope, I'm going on the 3rd . I actually think at the min that I will be on this open day by myself lol, not seen anyone going this week. Was it a good day?
I think that it was a very good day tbh, all the staff from the department seem very enthousiastic, and they have some great looking facilities! Really nice campus too.

Good stuff - did you get an itinerary for the day or anything through the post?

Going next week and don't have a clue what time it starts or where I need to be

Ah cool, I had a wander round the German dept in summer when noone was there (don't ask lol) and with it being deserted it seemed so lonely...as i should probably have expected.

And now I have to not get lost, this is going to be a mission..

Haha I know! Think there were about 6, seems a bit extreme. Ah well, guess it might have its benefits
I suppose if there's a 100-200 with offers (??) then spread over 6 days it's okay. I have this vision of me sat in a room by myself for 4 hours haha.

    *Prays people chose the 3rd*

Got a letter in the post telling me what time I needed to be there and where I needed to be then they gave us the itinerary on the day. The letter says that for 10th March you need to register at 12:45 in the maths building foyer.

The actual french department seemed a bit shabby and old fashioned, with old tables and chairs and blackboards (retro). But they had a really good language centre that was brand new with computers/tvs/dvds etcetcetc

If anyone has any questions on accomodation, history/politics, or anything else I'd be happy to field them.
Hey I was wondering whether you knew what the accommodation at Benefactors, Heronbank or Whitefields was like? & the type of people who stay there? Like, quiet, loud, etc =)

    Thanks,

    Lukee.

Yeah Im thinking Jack Martin, Benefactors looks amazing! But because its so small and your only allowed to pick one out of the 3 that is en suite I thought Id have more chance at Jack Martin
    Im sooo exciteed!
Saw what you said about going out before, the only thing I've found (as a girl that does like a good party) is this:

Then, perhaps I need to re-evaluate where I want to go! I don't mind sharing bathrooms, I'd just rather not Jack Martin appears to be really popular? What's so good about it?

I'm glad you like to get out and about, too! I love socialising, I get SO bored just sitting around doing nothing :yep: &, if we do get bored, we and others can take matters into our own hands haha

I'll join the Warwick party crew

Think there are lots of coaches into Birmingham for nights out and stuff which is alright, and London's an hour away by train if we want to crawl round there for a night :p:

If all else fails.....kitchen party at mine

    Good to hear!

Could even start a new society once we get there It'd be amazing to go into London for one of the nights! Right on

Also, what time do you guys usually go out in England? And I heard you guys come home relatively early, no? It's just from what I've gathered via mates in England and stuff?

We should have party at the big lake at the Uni. too!

    What're you studying, then?

I know this isn't directed at me, but, yeah
I suppose it's more about the people around you than the place around you?
I'm sure we'll find loads to do on campus and stuff, anyway

Club nights out in London and Birmingham are a definite, though! :yep:
