lol, why not use the word 'Vagina' or are you too prudish for that too?

I'm bi, but yes I do prefer her to be somewhat trimmed/shaved.
Nobody likes coughing up hair balls thanks.
    You cant shave your vagina.

Anyway, I hate downstairs hair removal. I think I look like a baby chicken and re-growth is a nightmare.

She wouldn't need to use the word vagina since you don't wax or shave your actual vagina :nothing:
    Touché.

Shave! The 1st couple of times it's itchy but then it's fine. It only lasts a day of two before subble grows back and you have to wait a few days for it to grow before you shave again of it won't shave smoothly. Worth it though, and if feels good when you've shaved! I'd only trimmed a bit when my ex went down on me, I cringe now when I think of it, I bet it was minging for him!

I am a girl... I really prefer to be hairless in that area, but I have horribly sensitive skin and nothing seems to work perfectly, so I generally just remove some hair and trim the rest neat, as I feel this is better than having ugly stubble or rash or something!

I always wonder if those shavers that men use on their face.. the gentle ones with like 3 little shaver bits... would be good down there, as it must be gentle if blokes can use it on the face area. Anyone know???

I think as long as you keep it relatively tidy, the majority of men are happy with that. But every guy prob has his own opinion on what he likes and they're not all the same... just as women all like diff things.
On guys: I actually think I would hate it if he totally waxed or shaved xD I like a man to be manly and have hair... though obviously, a little trim never hurt anyone.

    Troll.

    Don't listen to this buffoon.
Erm no dude, wtf you shacking up to if you don't want your bird to tame her parts?
The last thing I, and most men, want to see is a full on jungle party down south. Who the hell wants a good inch of untamed spider legs?
Don't call someone a troll because your opinion is in the minority. People like full natural muffs as much as natural armpits.

All natural is a complete & almost instant turn off.
    So's totally bald!

I think most men would agree that full natural is the worst case scenario in the case of women trimming their pubes.

Well i shave... although tbh it does itch like ****, and gets stubbly really quickly which is a bit annoying tbh. I may try waxing as it most likely would last longer and i'm fed up of shaving constantly. But just try one and see which one suits you! Also... i prefer to be shaven for myself and for guys... just makes me feel much more clean somehow

Well I had it done, it was a brazilian cause it was my first time, and didnt want to over face. I does hurt a lot, but at least it gets easier as you get it done. But its so clean and nice feeling! The woman was very nice, and didn't make it feel awkward at all cause she does it every day. The woman before me was quite old so that made me feel better haha! She was the first person to see it since I was a child = weird :indiff:

Wow, on a scale of 1 to 10 how much does brazilian, and full hollywood actually hurt? I can imagine its really painful if youve been shaving for like the last few years. Also, how long does it last before it starts to grow back?

I find it isn't that painful except there usually one or two strips that make me go "aahhh"! But it's quite funny. Just talk all the way through it it's worth if you don't and then you lie there holding your breath waiting for it! One place I went made me breath out as she did it and that takes the pain away. The pain goes off really really quickly too. It lasts about 4 weeks and it gets easier each time you go.

if you shave it over and over again without letting it grow back you get ingrown hairs which arent nice lol
shave then let it grow for a wee bit before shaveing again

Shave atm, but definitely going to get a wax when I'm back in England.

I wouldn't let a guy go near me otherwise, I'd feel disgusting!

Ah! Thank goodness for this thread.
I'm female and I personally shave but like ther people find it itchy, sore and stubbly. Waxing seems to be the more preferable option if removing any hair down below...
I wouldn't mind throwing in my own enquiry when it comes to waxing. Many waxing kits which I've picked up previously seem to encourage people not to wax around these areas and yet you can have this done in specialised shops - why is this? I only ask because I'm quite shy about having someone working around down below and I'm sure there may be a few other people in the same position!
P.S. Sorry for throwing this question into the thread!

Personally i wouldn't recommend home waxing untill you've had plenty of waxes done before, the hair is finer, and you don't have as much of it. Its very painful doing it yourself and you spend ages psyching yourself up only for it not to work properly. I also find it grows back much quicker if you do it yourself.

I know lots of girls who are shy about things like this, but at the end of the day you only need to show as much as you feel comfortable with. Most places you keep your pants on and just pull them aside, unless you're going for a hollywood and then you have to take them off to get it all (little less dignified, most of my friends have ended up on all fours with their legs in the air at some time or other). That said, ring up before hand and ask what they do if you're not sure! Also go somewhere recommended, a bad wax is a waste of money - especially if you have to go home and pluck afterwards. A good one lasts up to 4 weeks without any regrowth so definitely better than shaving. Also, yes there is a bit of pain, but its short lived!!

I'd say about...7 for a brazilian, but that was my first time and will get easier after that, I should have taken some painkillers but came straight from uni and didn't get to. Though different people have different pain thresholds. Hollywoods the lady said its particularly sore near the cleft so I didn't go that far yet. Mine was only yesterday so can't say, but I hear its about 4 weeks.
