My notes/slides from the lecturer are so poor. From 80 odd slides covering 3 weeks on LAN there is no mention of physical media. The book recommended only has physical layer information. Just spoke to a friend on my course, he has spent one week doing a LAN diagram because again, there is no notes on what these are or how to make them. Not good.

Is it just me is the Manchester Baby assignment quite a small program but worth more than it actually should be? It's 16%, the others were 8%. :holmes:

I have actually, epic game :yy:. Unfortunately I doubt I'll be able to help because it runs seamlessly for me, out of the box. Try compatibility mode anyway?

Got it to work, the installer needs an MS XML parser which I didn't have.

Well its harder to start off(in terms of thinking what you want to do) than the cell automata and if you do this right, writing the assembler becomes elementary, so in a way the mark proportion does make sense.

I can see now why I'm having to convert binary to decimal back and forward so much, it's actually horrendous, I need to change my code. :nn:
