    Internet connectivity in your LAN will be through a proxy server and default gateways.

    In terms of your brief, it's just the LAN design - specifically the segmentation of the LAN.

    :teehee: are you going to cause some mischief?

    Did you sort out your WAN protocol?

    Might be worthwhile asking here to see if anyone can give you some more pointers on WAN links. I'm pretty clued up with LAN's but I'm not sure how to specify what kind of connection would be A) Appropriate and B) Realistic for a building with 250-300 hosts.

    Indeed. I have PM'd PieMaster and am currently reading some WAN book. Not so different from LAN really. Luckily though the WAN is only worth 10marks. LAN worth 30. :eek:
