    I was just thinking, well actually thinking for a while now. It would be good to have a thread with information on freeware software. I think it would be handy especially for the number of students who would love to save a few pounds and who might not be so tech savvy. Things like OpenOffice, AVG, Spybot S&D. Then we could have reviews on each piece of sofware. Also other software that could enhance their computer experience such as Launchy and other software that may come in useful. I think it would be brilliant if all the information on software was in one place with user reviews and recommendations as there is a few cases that I've seen on TSR with people downloading software which isn't exactly what it says on the tin.

    Just an idea. Sorry if it's been done already.
