    i wasn't sure if restarting would be a good idea if there's a recovery disc inside:o: there's no hole to manually eject it either...i dont want to hurt my laptop lol:p:

    You don't have one of those slot drives do you? The kind that you just slot the CD in without the need of a disc tray popping out like on the Nintendo Wii or the PS3.

    Ass. This is why consumer-grade laptops suck. It should be alright to restart, though, as you can just cancel any recovery, or just force it to boot from HDD in the BIOS.

    no...its a normal drive with a disc tray
