i dislike the limitations with ipods, that you have to use itunes

i like the copy and paste of my zen, the SD card slot, the wireless, the radio etc

Any ideas on formal expressions folks?

Using quantifiers, give formal expressions for the following statement, where p, q and r are all
natural numbers. Do not use the divide operator /

if the squares of two natural numbers are equal then the two numbers are equal

    diff $file1 $file2 > mypatch.txt
    patch $file1 < mypatch.txt

    Doesn't patch... :dontknow:

Ah, group project. Our presentation yesterday went well :yy:.

Test today.. average. Though I heard lots of people found it hard so perhaps in comparison I didn't do too badly.

    Code:
    #!/bin/sh

    diff file1 file2 > mypatch.txt
    patch file1 < mypatch.txt

    cat file1

    cat file2

Seems to work when file1 and file2 are the files in question

is that what you were looking for?

    I don't know what you're on about...

    Doesn't work for me anyway...

Odd, does it throw up any errors when you run the script or do nothing?

just tried it there and it worked for 2 sample files

Like discrete mathematics? Or something else?
Like "for all p for all q, p^2=q^2 => p=q" or are you talking about something else? Give an example?
Why would you need the divide operator?
    I don't think I understand the question
