Did this last week. The dreamy fanboi look on people's faces staring in through the windows was just :teehee:. 3 of the iPhones ran out of battery despite being plugged into the mains.

it's that time of the year again: what student broadband to get.
i havent delved into tech recently, has this popped up yet?

if not, i may start a wiki page or something:holmes:

but before i do, some details about our house:
    • it has cable and phone line
    • we are on o2 and orange (but no, not orange)
    • last year used virgin cable
    • we are looking for october - may-ish
    • i have a adsl router spare
    • there are 4 of us to share the connection/costs

as typical students, usage must be high and speed preferably high.

    thanks all
    Bumped for Chrosson. :p:

any ideas on my internet post?:holmes:
I would go for O2 tbh
    http://top10.com/broadband/packages/
    1) 40GB is a little risky I would think.
    2) 4 is actually better value :p:
    3) 40GB again.
    4) Not bad.
    ...
    8) Not bad if you have phones.

    4 vs 8
Both unlimited (truly unlimited I believe, not FUP).
    Same speed.
    Both good ISPs.
    4 has 3 months free (-£30)
    8 has a call deal.

    What's your postcode/phone number?
http://www.samknows.com/broadband/br...d_availability will give a better idea of what you can have.

 at hate of hate of firefox - http://www.thestudentroom.co.uk/show....php?t=1341377
Why can people not accept that perhaps firefox (also: mac, linux) isn't best thing no matter what, and people are allowed preferences.
What happened to a tolerant society :emo:

Of course, realplayer is the best thing no matter what :awesome:

Since when did flashing your BIOS mean you have to format as well?
