    What a total fail. :facepalm2: http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-10735857

The court heard that the images were discovered after Venables called his probation officer fearing that his identity had been revealed.

When the officer arrived, Venables was trying to delete files from his computer and remove the hard drive, prosecutors said.

He was subsequently taken to a police station with the machine where it was examined by officers, they added.

You know that Chrome has three channels - stable, beta, and dev. You can only install one of these at once. Canary installs in a separate directory with separate user data and you can install it side by side to an existing installation. The Canary channel itself is a bit like dev, but more frequently updated.

Oh, and it has a cool icon :smug:

Edit: It's called Canary because of the thing miners used to do with canaries - send one down, and if it died, they knew it wasn't safe to mine down there. A bit depressing, but calling it Canary makes a lot of sense and it's cool. I love Google :daydreaming:
