Trick I tend to use is to just insert some other tag inside the tag you need to break, e.g. <you<b></b>tube>. Replace <b> with whatever the bold format tag is on the wiki, probably **.

So far it seems, my guess for the IP competition thread in Tech, the very first guess is ... going to be spot on. Nobody curse it. :teeth:

My attempt to inject some life into the thread has failed. Somebody perform CPR.

Go on then, I'll try and start something off.

I think it looks really good, especially the high contrast mode, although of course it depends on how good the stylus functionally is (i.e. is the resolution high enough get close to paper) and if it can do things such as drag and drop items around the page. Although being a great gadget doesn't necessarily make it profitable, it shall be really interesting to see if it takes off.

    Website down. Go google cache

Oooooh....I want one already. My biggest requirement would be the ease of use for navigating between pages/organising etc.
The white coloured screen and the fact that it's matte looks nice.

One thing I noticed on the website....
    - Wi-Fi module on request with order (no added charge (!)
    - no web browsing !
    Errr......

Something similar which looks perhaps a little more limited, but demonstrates the basic drawing idea.

Looks great. If the actual release model looks as good as that, and actually works like they say it does/show it does, I'd buy it on release. Here's hoping they release it in the UK.

Getting the sad, sinking feeling that it is fake/vapourware.

Have you got the official case? Is it worth the steep price tag?

This is regarding the Kindle 3 - Yep, it's a very good case. You have to buy it separately. One edition has a light that pops out of the corner (night light) and the other edition is just a normal case. Yeah, in the long term, it is worth it. The 3G one is a waste of money. They add an extra £50 and it's not justified, get the wifi only version if you ever buy it. It doesn't replace books - the feel and smell of paper (:coma:) but the display is fantastic (like reading an actual book) - you don't get eye strain like you do with LCD screens, battery life goes for a month without charge and it can store hundreds of books. It feels comfortable in your hands and it accounts for small things (disadvantages of books) such as carrying lots of books around and lying in bed sideways (:awesome:). It's hard, if you've ever done it, to read a book this way. Kindle doesn't have that problem. It has page turn buttons on both sides of the device.

It is without a doubt, the best E-Reader on the market. PDF support is crap but you should just convert any PDFs using the free software, Calibre. I'm pleased with it anyway. :awesome:
