im just waiting for my PAC to go through, hasn't been done today so should happen tomorrow.
is yours unlocked and debranded and all that?
AFAIK, you can debrand once rooted i.e. use a custom firmware.

Yes, Carphone Warehouse were kind to me, though the bootloader is locked by HTC and signed (by default, I might add), so there's no root present for custom ROMS at all until someone unlocks the bootloader. That said, when you get your device, check if yours is an S-OFF handset (boot to the loader by pressing power and volume down when powering up, and check the top line), because if it is, you may be in luck.

Who woulda thought content-length would be a crucial header field to remember to change when intercepting and modifying http responses. Goodbye evening :sigh:

Cache isn't a very good way of storing data. :fyi: You'd be far better having a RAID5 array.

Hey guise, for my honours project, theres a choice of using Kinect/PS Eye in the reception area of our computing building - do you guys have any cool ideas of using either one? Current suggestion was for like security, facial recognition and the other, some sort of bell that notifies the receptionist when it detects someone is in the reception area perhaps a delivery man. :holmes:

Security Mike, maybe not face recognition (am not a fan) but for something like the camera being used in premises and it is triggered when an alarm goes off thus recording the goings on of a potential break in.
