    Bad times

This Crapberry crisis is getting very taxing now. I really don't give a toss. RIM should have had a more resilient network architecture than this... they're one of a number of companies on my list of "Companies I wish would just roll over and die".

Renewed my BCS membership for another year. Half price at £75 this year, then I think the price rockets after that

In other news, RIM's future looks bleak. Their most recent handsets have been rubbish, they released a tablet which doesn't even have e-mail (:lolwut:? That was BB's killer app back in the day) and now their network fell over giving a near global outage of nearly three days. This is a whole chain of massive failures, not a few minor hiccups.

I still get Milkround e-mails advertising jobs with them though

I think I could only find one hash database which included it, interestingly enough :holmes:

The whole Blackberry blackout thing is just another reason why I want rid of this crappy little thing. I can't even remember why I got the bloody thing! It's just pissing me off to no end now.

Also very sad to hear about Dennis Ritchie...

Bloody weird like, I only just learned about him today in a UNIX lecture, then went home and see he's dead on BBC news website :/.

    Your sanity?

In all seriousness, what've you been meaning to replace but not gotten around to doing so?

No way! I really like the look of their price. So long as it's root-able I'll be fine with it
