Limerence is the feeling associated with crushes and obsessive love, not love itself.
no, the definition on wikipedia is the same as that for "love".

Limerence and love is the same thing.

Nice attempt at trying to sound smart though

It's not an attempt at sounding smart. If you read the article you'll see that it differs. Limerence is an involuntary cognitive and emotional state: Infatuation. Not love. You could think of it as an obsessive desire for love.

Anyway, I don't want to labour the point. To sum up: You can't be in love with someone you don't know and haven't met; you can feel an intense romantic desire, but that's not love.

yes but that's not love, it's just infatuation and obsession. i meant genuine love.
Do you genuinely believe it can be anything more than infatuation and obsession for a celeb that you've never met?

When I was 11 I convinced my self that I was going to actually marry Daniel Radcliffe...I had dreams of our marriage, anything with his face on I would collect ( think I still have the box of Dan stuff...) I REALLy thought it was love. The I saw pictures of Equs and rather than making me fall more in love it had the reverse effects
Now its Jason Orange from Take That :coma:   haha!

Ok maybe not love but very obsessed!

I don't just mean a crush...I mean to litterally fall in love and want to marry them.

    Is it possible?
Personally I think one can never fall in love with someone they don't know. They only fall in love with the idea/image of the person/celebrity.

when i was younger i wanted Calvin out of the S CLub Juniors. Remember when he sang Puppy Love? I used to have really philosophical and depressing discussions with myself about how fame is like a forcefield that prevents some of us from reaching those we actually are supposed to be with.... LOL. Well I was 12.
