    I know this is Really dodgey but is it too late to apply now? ive had a massive rethink of myself wanting to go to university after doubting it for so long cant really find much information on Ucas itself!

    if anyone can help me I would Really appreciate it... thank you!

    you might be able to, best thing to do is ring up ucas, they may let you.

    well i know it sounds really ridiculous, but i always ummed and arred about myself applying to university as i didnt think i had the self beleif to be able to go, now ive been having a huge think about it and REALLY am positive about going to university. i just know i gotta be too late

    You can apply but universities don't have to consider your application. I think the deadline was late last month.

    Of course you can. You have missed the deadline which guarantees equal consideration but plenty of universities will still consider you.

    yep, what good bloke said. You can apply any time before 30th June (after that you can still apply but go straight into clearing), it's just that after 22nd January you will not be given equal consideration necessarily, so in other words they'll only look at your application if they still have spaces to fill. Many do, and it may be worth waiting until the end of February before applying (late is late after all) when UCAS publishes the "Extra" listings which gives you a good idea of what courses/universities still have places left.

    Guys THANK YOU for the help getting abit uptight about it, Mind you, im no AAA student, so my chances may be abit greater with the grades im expected as im sure the lower end uni's wont have as much applying..

    That depends more on the individual universities, but I would say that it is common for universities to guarantee 1st year accommodation in halls to those who put them as a firm choice. Don't worry too much about accommodation at this time, even if you end up going private there should be lots of options open to you.
