I need opinions on an issue. I have a 17 year old who is very bright but extremenly rude. He is doing A levels and needs AAA for his course. He is always on his PS3 and the games he plays makes him aggressive but he wont accept the link. Whenever I remind him that he needs to do some work (2-3 hrs a day...not much for final A levels) he becomes abbusive. Every word out of him is extremely rude and his behaviour is so so bad that we have had to call the police. I am concerned that if I call the Police again it will cost him his uni place and a possible career. I am known by everyone to be a very quiet and patient person but I am at my wits end. I have asked him to move out if he wants to. His behaviour is violent towards me , his mum and younger sister. Any ideas? I am really tired now and just want him out of our lives forever.

    Arrange counselling for him.

Talk with him, is something bothering him in his life? Has he always been rude and abusive?

I'm afraid you're going to have to poison him
