    Could you cope without beans?

They're OK once in a while, but they very quickly lose their appeal. I'm not the "lives on baked beans" type of student - I've learned how to cook things other than pasta and baked beans after 4 years in higher education

I do appreciate the good ol' beans
Not fused on heinz though, prefer the really cheap ones.
But beans of any variety are amazing <3

I cope without heinz. Baked beans aren't the only sort of bean you know.
Personally I like suma's own brand.
That said I'm often found soaking a cup full of beans for use in a stew or soup of some kind. they're an excellent source of a fair few things.

Heinz are vastly inferior to Branston baked beans. Vastly inferior.

    Beans in general....
Then I'd advice a variety of beans, not just haricot beans. That way the consumer will recieve different sources of different amino acids. They'll also have a high chance of getting some trace elements, and calcium.
Aside from that beans are a great source of carbs, and I think, although I could be wrong, are per gram fairly un kcalorific.

^ Indeed they are, but the sauce they're drenched in more than compensates.

am I the only to hate beans on toast? like when you put them on and the toast goes all soft and it feels like you're eating soggy toast or something.. anyhow, I love HEINZ/BRANSTON BEANS
