It's a girls loss they haven't found you. Best way to think of it if you're a decent guy anyway.

    Hello!

Just to start with an upbeat introduction!

Basically, this is another one of those male-on-TSR 'no girlfriend' threads.

But it's true. I'm 22, and single. I haven't had sex since just before my 18th birthday. And though I've developed deep crushes/feelings for a series of girls since my teenage girlfriend, none have come to anything. Usually down to my sociopathic personality, a lack of mutual interest or them being spoken for.

I consider myself to be an educated, good-looking young man, but on this particular issue, lost. There are females I am very interested in, and know that I am within their range too, but I find initiation difficult and so they lose interest. I probably come across as stuffy and aloof, or not easy to figure out. I also probably have too much pride, and so the prospect of rejection lingers in my mind. In everything else, I am very confident and conscientious.

Will I get married, am I going to be typing the same thread at 24, 28, 38?

Maybe it's just the dark nights
I'm much the same. Half of TSR is much the same!
Reasonably bright, sometimes funny, fairly friendly, sometimes shy, over-analyzes social interaction.
Most of us have the opportunity to have quite a few girls, it ALWAYS comes down to who has the balls to give it a shot.

    This reeks of self-pity.
What worries me, is that you have the energy to bother to type this. Who has the time to trawl these types of threads, and then comment.

At least I'm open about my sad life!

Nobody asks people to write books, but do you spend your days reviewing every book and helpfully giving misguided authors who's books happen to displease you a piece of your mind?

Too much free time, too little going on.

Who are you refering to me or you?

    Becuase, 16+8=24

The least age you can be is 23.

Helps for me. And tbh I know it's true too. If you're fun, confident and know how to treat a lady then its just a matter of time really.

Do you want a girlfriend or sex?

The latter is far easier to achieve, go to a club tonight, look for the girl wearing next to nothing and start grinding.

We're in 2010. If the OP has had his birthday this year, he is 23. If he hasn't, he is 22. How difficult is that ? LOL

Back to the subject. A girl's weakness is a guy's confidence. If you show confidence.. everything will place into place.

I am yet to turn 23 - What's with the failed inquisition? This is worse than the Iraq inquiry grilling Blair.
