Hi, I come from a tech background and would like to learn about the finance world in general, I'll be sticking with tech roles in IB but I want to get an overview of all the different areas of finance and to understand them to a reasonable level. What does everyone recommend?
    Thanks

The recommendation I made in the other thread of The Complete Guide to Capital Markets for Quantitative Professionals applies even more in this case, the first two parts of the book cover the various parts of finance, and the third covers the relationship between finance and technology in banks.
