    Depends what the "food" was. Some things like animal products (meat, cheese, etc) from outside the EU are banned.

    One of the food products was meat . . lol ie pattie (which is similar to a cornish pasty). He said they didn't even open it, didn't even ask what it was! He had fruit, bush tea and they didn't touch it!!
