Hokay, this isn't for definite, but I'm quite sure...

x bar would normally be the sample mean, which is 108, and n is the sample size, which is 1 in this example, as you're only picking one thing. mu is the population mean.

Okay, so

So you look up z = 0.4 in your tables.
You say the xbar is normally the sample mean, how comes I put the score in there?

And I don't know where I got that 65 from actually, I must have been looking at a different question =/ ohh dear.

Cos it's randomly picked, and it's like saying what is the mean of 108? It's just 108. If that makes sense.

so that's the probability of a randomly selected score being above 108!

Thank yeeeeee

can I have my custard back, please?
Yes. It's been cluttering my room up for a week

Just text me to see if I'm in. Alternatively I could drop it out of the window (you know which one it is).

EDIT: There are other methods to contact me other than this place, you know. You didn't have to wait until your ban was lifted.

So next questions asks if 25 people were selected instead of one.

So for this, I need to change n to 25.

for the xbar, do I need to calculate a sample mean? or can I not do that/
