Thinking of retaking A Level modules whilst at Uni watch

    • Thread Starter

I'm at Liverpool right now doing Radiotherapy. It's really not what I expected and I now want to transfer on to Civil Engineering starting next year. Problem is they normally ask for BBB/BBC and I only got CCC at A Level.

My original plan has been to just suspend my studies on my current course, try and boost my grades in Maths and Physics to Bs and apply for a course transfer on to Civil Engineering at Liverpool.

But now I've thought, another option would be to carry on with my current course till May, do the exams, get the CertHe which I think, coupled with a B in Maths, might get me on to Civil Engineering.

I got 28 UMS off a B in Maths, so I'd retake two modules in Maths to ensure a B. My question is, have any of you out there tried resitting modules whilst at Uni? How much time did you spend revising for a module?
