    I just remembered about the bursary ting. Am I too late? I've already completed my UCAS and sent it off on Oct 15th. Damn I wanted apply for Imperial!!!

    Let me try and clear things up.

    - Apply to UCAS by xxth January 2010
    - Complete Student Finance by June
    - Firm your offer from Imperial
    - Attend Imperial
    - January 2011: Get the bursary

    Did you actually put Imperial on your UCAS?

    Don't confuse student finance (administered by SLC) and the bursaries (administered by Imperial). Imperial bursaries are generally decided early on when you actually arrive -- mainly because they'd obviously rather not give money to someone who doesn't show...
