My boyfriend makes me cringe everytime I see him...

I used to love this guy, every time we were together I would be so nervous around him, I loved those cute freckles and how his teeth were a little crooked, I thought it gave him character. Suddenly those freckles start to look like specks of dirt and his awful teeth make him look part piranha.

We're both 20. We met at 19 so we've been together a year now. I don't know what to feel, when he kisses me I feel sick. I can't stand to be around him anymore. The way he talks irritates me, even the way he walks and acts makes me want to get the hell away.

I've found myself increasingly trying to spend as little time as possible with him, I'm starting to see what he's really like, how selfish he is and greedy. Everything about him gets on my nerves.

It wasn't always like this. At the start I loved him. I was the one who came up to him, I was so attracted to him. And when we got together, the more learned about him, the more i loved him. We were inseparable.

So why the change? Why am I feeling like this? :frown: I feel horrible but I can't help but want to get away from him these days.

Advice?

If you don't like him anymore, end it? No one can help the way they feel...
But any idea what caused the change? are you just coming out the 'honeymoon period'?

Dump him. If you're not attracted to his personality, then there's very little reason you should stay with him.
you're still reasonably young, so who you are is still changing.

theres not much you can do about it. break up with him now (but nicely) and don't string it along any longer
Yeah i think its best to just end it now because the longer you leave it the harder it becomes (talking from experience here as well LOL) as someone above said, the 'honeymoon period' could just be over. sometimes it happens after a year or so, sometimes after about 10 years or whatever. doesnt mean that either of you have done anything wrong.

Good luck xx
the mirror just cracked and now you are not seeing him in this 'loved up' bubble

''It's over, sorry''.
I would say leave him. The way you describe him makes me feel sick lol. However if your just going through a bad patch you might want to give him a chance.
I had exactly the same situation - I just woke up one day and I wasn't happy with my bf anymore, for pretty much the same reasons as you described; he just annoyed me and there were suddenly so many things about him I really didn't like. I tried to just wait it out and for things to get better because I was absolutely besotted before this whole thing started, but trust me doing that just makes things worse. You need to end it - that's what I did and I'm so much better for it.
