would it be weird to buy yourself valentines gifts, to break the monotony of giftless valentines days?

No I think you should do it. Why shouldn't single people get themselves a nice little something on Valentines day.

I'm single and I've always either ignored Valentines day or had a good chat with my friends and treating myself to something nice.

At the end of the day, Valentines day is a bit of a commercially hyped thing in my opinion but on the other hand, I think it's crazy to say that only coupled people should be more entitled to have nice things, whether that be Valentines day or any other day of the year for that matter

if it were easy, i'd be getting a life and not resorting to buying myself stuff on valentines day because none cares about my existance.

I feel like this is all my fault. I would say I'm sorry, but a witty 'but' related PM would be much better. Just a shame I can't think of one.
