    your point being?
    :lolwut: It's obvious.

You said the fact that she writes her own music is enough.
I said plenty of artists write their own music.
You disagreed so I gave an example.
My example illustrated that writing your own music doesn't mean you are grammy worthy.
    Is that ok for you?

Of course there are....like The Fray write their own music, with better, more meaningful lyrics and I see no recent Grammys or enough hype for them.
that's because the fray are a truly, truly terrible band

She is nothing special. Her music is generic teenybopper pop. Yet she is beautiful, such a shame she doesn't seem to have a personality. :sadnod:

i never said she was grammy worthy. All i said was she writes her own songs so i don't care whether or not i like her music or not. If the fray won, i'd respect them all the same whether or not i liked them or not. If however some ****** pop act won with no talent, then that's different

I like the band hero version of Love Story (its less country sounding, more electro), but can't say Ive ever heard any other songs. She's a good singer though.

Taylor Swift is way better than Justin Bieber. He looks like a 9 year old - with a voice of a 9 year old. Puberty will strike faster than light, and then, kaboom, career over.

Stupid teenage girls who relate to her mind numbing ballads on what it's like to be a teenager.

I like her, she's modest, seems genuine and nice enough as well as pretty down to erath but she still creeps me out

she has a kinda odd face, like it's been stretched upwards or something.... and i find her music a bit repetitve and samey tbh

I quite like her music, but overall I prefer Carrie Underwood
Agreed. Carrie is a better performer live with more personality in her songs. Although there's no denying Taylor Swift's impressive ability to write catchy songs and target an audience and capitalise on it.
