How to make friends at uni

Im currently a 1st year student at uni. I have a few friends but i would like to have more friends. I feel that loads of people already have their own friendship groups already. I do lots of activities and am part of societies but it still hasnt made a difference. Im living in halls at the moment and will be living in a house next year. From having been badly bullied previously, im quite a shy person but ive still tried to make friends.
Any advice on how to make more friends?

Talk to you're flatmates often, maybe other ppl on the same block? What i found that works is act so extremely camp that all the girls are convinced you're gay, and they will all try and be besties with you! :smile:

Just keep going to the different societies, nights out etc.
