Does it say 'provisional offer' in the university decision column on track or is it in a letter/e-mail that QM sent you?

A 'Provisional Offer' means, a temporary offer. :p:

Yeah but what does that mean?! Are they making an offer know that they think they may take away later?!

i'm assuming it means, you've got the place as long as you meet the required grades.

Thats kinda what I guessed but that would of course be a conditional offer if it was on track, that's why I want the OP to say where it says provisional offer.

If it's on a QM letter/e-mail then it probably is a conditional but if it says that on track then it's probably something else.

    I received one of these!

If it's like mine and came within an email, it basically means they'll be sending you an offer shortly!

Basically mine said they were provisionally giving me an offer and it was from the head of admissions. It said i'd receive an offer within 2-4 weeks?

I'm guessing it's the same kind of thing! Guess it's just a little querky admissions procedure QM enjoy including!

A provisional offer means that they will offer you a place on the condition that you achieve or better the minimum grades they require (not just points score)
