    Hey,

Due to take online tests with Grant Thornton but suffering a bit of a crisis of confidence after struggling with the PWC ones. I found the logical reasoning easy but couldn't even finish the numeracy test, I was wondering if anybody has experience of the two firms' tests and whether GTs is any easier? Also whether anybody knows of good practice tests? I tried the one GT links to but it seemed very easy and I can't imagine that its the same as the actual test.

    Cheers

Hi, I did both and thought that Grant Thornton's was harder actually, sorry! The practice GT ones are considerably easier than the actual tests so don't let that fool you! Just practice practice practice, do a search on google and a lot of sites should come up - try your uni careers service website otherwise, I know ours had a whole host of ones we could do as well as links to other sites, and we could even go into the careers centre and do some practice ones there. They are meant to be hard as they don't want everyone just getting amazing marks, they want to differentiate people, so they don't expect you to finish them. My tip would be not to spend too long on each question though - work out how long you should spend on a question and stick to it - if you can't work it out, move on as you may find you could have done some of the later ones that you've missed Oh and have a load of scrap paper handy to scribble on!
