Vector Calculus - Divergence theorem Watch

By applying the divergence theorem to the vector field a ^ A, where a is a constant vector and A(x) is a vector field, show that

\int_V curl A \dV = - \int_S A ^ dS

I've rewritten a few things, and I've managed to get to \int_V a.curl(A) dV= -\int_S a.(A ^ dS). Am I allowed to 'cancel' the a's?

a is arbitrary, so you can choose a to be whatever you want it to be

Then we just get the x components of each side...
