    How much ATP is generated DIRECTLY in krebs cycle?
    All the books say 2 while the diagram shows only 1 generated... wtf is going on?




    And also btw do i have to learn any intermediates between oxaloacetate and citrate..

    It's because two cycles of Acetyl CoA are required for each glucose molecule, as glucose can make 2 Acetyl CoA.

    So it's one ATP per cycle, or 2 ATP per glucose molecule.
