Tie for a night out?

Wearing a tie on a night out, is it too smart?

Don't know your style, but one of my guy friends wore a tie on a night out with a plain shirt but with a really nice grey cardigan instead of a jacket and it looked pretty cool. And skinny ties are in right now are they not and they are accepted as casual dress, yeah? Just avoid a double windsor and make it look more edgy!

Sorry if this is totally wrong, I'm a girl so boys' fashion is a bit alien to me, but I think it would look cool on a guy :smile:

My boyfriend does, it looks pretty cool with a shirt and tie and a nice cardie and jeans.
