    Hey,
Just helping out my friend who is doing GCSE and wondered if anyone has a mark scheme for English Language coursework. He needs to write a film review and original piece of writing and was just wondering what needs to be included to ensure A/A*.

Not so much a mark scheme, for these creative subjects see, no right or worng answer. If you found it it would be like ' shows good use of structure' - see what I mean?

Remind him that semi colons MUST be used to gain an A* in the creative writing.
Just thougth id mention it, because that was what was keeping me from an a*

Indeed, this exercise is all about grammar tbh- make sure your friend has good sentence structure, excellent vocabulary including a broad use of technical terms that are used correctly and a wide use of grammar, tbh as it is marked internally by the school, they should provide you with a mark scheme- I remember our teachers providing us with one....

    ! hope this helps (Y)

    We were always taught PEE:

    Point
    Evidence
    Effect.

Worked enough for me, and an easy way to get marks in the bag
