Hey everybody, I was wondering after you graduate how far away do you get placed from where you graduated, I heard that people that study in London often end up being placed in hospitals outside of London. Thanks

It's now 'open competition' for Foundation jobs rather than people just staying on where they studied - so you get placed where you get into which is based on your score, everyone else's score & your preferences.
Google terms: UKFPO , MMC etc.

Medical school at Penninsula & being allocated 'Scotland' deanery would probably win on distance!

That often happens because the london placements are damn popular, and anyone from any med school can apply for them, so there is a lot of competition. Going to any particular uni doesn't mean you'll be able to stay in that area necessarily.
